I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Virginia registered through the Virginia Board of Counseling. I have a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lynchburg College. I’m a lifelong learner and am very passionate about my own growth and learning as a therapist and healer. I will continue to grow in learning new techniques that are aligned with me and my values to help my clients.  

The Soul Centered Method is both Holistic and Person Centered. I am trained in and utilize a number of approaches when appropriate for a client’s needs including:

• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT utilized to support trauma)
• Exposure Response Prevention certified(ERP utilized to support OCD and Anxiety disorders)
• Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy and integration work after Ketamine treatments
• Gottman Method Couples therapy

I am trained in Gottman Method Levels 1 and 2, a type of Couples Counseling through the Gottman Institute. I am trained in integration of sex therapy tools with Gottman Method through American Association of Sexuality Educators. I also utilize Holistic Psychotherapy and Transpersonal therapy techniques when appropriate such as mindfulness, meditations, guided imagery, sound healing, creative arts and breathing techniques as a Somatic Embodiment certified therapist. I am adept and equipped to explore trauma, and inner child work with my clients.

I am a trauma informed, LGBTQ+ and gender affirming practitioner. I identify as a Cisgender Biracial Woman and BIPOC practitioner. I support body, sex and kink positivity. I do not practice religious based counseling, however I do respect all religions and spiritual beliefs in my work with my clients because it can be powerful to utilize spirituality practices in finding meaning, purpose, connection and healing. 

I do utilize and support any spiritual practices being present in sessions for meaning making including tarot, human design, astrology, and exploration of dream interpretation. I am a strong believer and advocate for all human rights, women’s rights, liberation and justice. My office is a safe space for all. I honor your life and needs. I believe that you are the expert in your own experience and I’m here to validate and empower you.
